CIL Core Services
CIL CORE SERVICES is funded through Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA)
- Individual & Group Advocacy– Empowering people with disabilities to speak for themselves and others on their rights, privileges, and services. Individual and group advocacy services are also available to parents of children with disabilities.
- Life Skills Training– Individualized training in life skills, budgeting, household management, cooking, sexuality, personal assistant services, self-awareness, etc. to empower persons with disabilities to live more independently.
- Peer Support– A network of persons with disabilities designed to provide emotional support and personal growth for people with similar disabilities.
- Information & Referral– A comprehensive listing of disability related services available to the community.
- Service Coordination– A distinct service that enables persons with disabilities and their families to find, utilize, and coordinate available resources and opportunities in their communities based on their individual needs.
