Meet the Staff
Janice Mengel
Jan Mengel is an IL Service Coordinator for CILNCP. Her experiences with people with disabilities comes from her work as a teacher of students with multiple disabilities as well as her personal experience with a physical disability. She was diagnosed with rheumatoid
arthritis in 1998, which has resulted in several surgeries and her need to use a wheelchair on a part-time basis. Also, a few months admittance to a
local nursing facility has given her sensitivity for those who currently desire to move back into their own home. As a recipient of Attendant Care services Jan has a personal experience with allowing others to assist her in order to live independently, succeed at her job, and achieve all that she is designed to be!
Therefore, Jan's passion is to help others who desire to achieve all they are designed to be, regardless of
their age or current challenges.
