Meet the Staff
Hazel Spain
Hazel Spain came to CILNCP as a volunteer in 2000. She spent a lot of her time volunteering for the IM4Q Program. Hazel is also the proud holder of the 2006-2007 CILNCP Volunteer of the Year Award. In 2004, she joined our Board of Directors and served as the Treasurer for a two and a half year term. She became a member of our staff in February 2009 and is currently the Intake Coordinator.
Hazel sits on the Board of Directors for the Transitional Living Center and volunteers with the Muncy State Prison, where she recently received the Volunteer of the Year Award for 2009 in appreciation of her years of dedicated service in support of the women of the SCI-Muncy Chapel Programs. Hazel has also previously volunteered with Lycoming County Prison.
Hazel originally came to CILNCP as a consumer but is now a valuable asset to CILNCP’s mission because of her dedication and desire to volunteer.
On a personal note, Hazel has a daughter, Taneisha. She loves most sports, as well as volunteering, and feels blessed when she is helping others
