Information and Referral Specialist (Part-Time)
Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of two years’ experience working in an agency or organization providing human services to the community, with an understanding of Independent Living Philosophy and disability culture.

Strong understanding of Independent Living philosophy and the empowerment of persons with disabilities to achieve personal goals and improve quality of life.

Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
-
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
-
Ability to multitask and manage various duties simultaneously.
-
Capable of working effectively with a diverse range of individuals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with adaptive technology.
-
Proficiency in computer software.
-
Team-oriented with proven related experience.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently when necessary.

Personal experience in independent living and/or people with lived experience of a disability are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

-
Bachelor’s Degree in the field of study relevant to the provision of Independent Living Services or at least three years of experience in the direct delivery of human services.
-
3-4 years of experience in the direct delivery of human services.

Personal experience in independent living and/or people with lived experience of a disability are encouraged to apply.
