Project A.B.L.E.

Acceptance By Learning Experiences, is a hands-on disability awareness program. This training allows people to “try on a disability” to gain first-hand insight about barriers people with disabilities face. This training is geared towards any population from school students to agencies and corporations. Project A.B.L.E. simulates disabilities like cerebral palsy, dyslexia, autism, attention deficit disorder, blindness, and other physical disabilities. This training can be done on your site with your staff, or you may come to RTFCIL.

Sensitivity, Etiquette & Awareness

This training program is designed to educate the public about people with disabilities. By increasing awareness, we aim to dispel stereotypes, teach disability etiquette, and inform people about the law. Common respect, courtesy, and eliminating the awkwardness some people feel interacting with a person with a disability, are our goals. We can tailor any presentation to your specific needs.
