In-home Care Attendant
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must possess basic math, reading, and writing skills.

Must possess a valid social security number.

Must be willing to submit to a criminal record check, child abuse clearance, and FBI fingerprinting. Must PASS Criminal, Child Abuse and
-
FBI fingerprinting clearances according to DPW regulations.

Must demonstrate the capability to perform health maintenance activities required by consumer’s Person-Centered Service Plan or be willing to receive training in the performance of health maintenance activities.

Must have the required skills to perform personal assistance services specified in the consumer’s Person-Centered Service Plan.

Must support the Independent Living Philosophy.

Must submit and pass a TB test

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
​

Provide essential personal assistant services such as bathing, dressing, bowel/bladder management, transfer assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other tasks as outlined on the consumer’s Person-centered Service Plan.

Ability to lift, bend and perform other physical tasks as directed by the consumer or supervisor.

Ability to travel when needed.

Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and evenings.

Ability to be punctual and dependable.

Ability to be respectful of all individuals for whom you work, both in the community and in the office setting.
